Nou Camp Stadium
Nou Camp Stadium in Barcelona is the largest football stadium to be found in Europe. This is the football ground where Barcelona Football Club known locally as "Barca" play all their home matches.
The actual stadium as well as being able to seat 98,800 people in relative comfort also sports a large museum. In here, you will find the trophies that Barcelona Football Club have won over the years along with other trophies that have been won by the Barcelona Basketball Club.
When visiting the stadium why not book yourself on to one of its tours. These generally take an hour and during this time you actually get to see much more of it including the managers' dug out which is beside the pitch, the rooms where the players get changed for a match and of course a visit to the clubs trophy room. Plus during this visit you will be able to walk down the tunnel where the players walk to get on to the pitch and visit the chapel for a moments quiet contemplation if you so wish.
If you whilst in Barcelona you would like to watch Barcelona FC playing football there are plenty of hotels near Nou Camp Stadium that you can stay in. This will make your visit to the stadium much easier as most matches are played late in the evening.
There are several different types of hotel to choose from and all within a 3 km radius of where the stadium is situated. Along with five star hotels in which you may see rival football players staying there are hotels, which will cost you less.
